2000 Year Old Chinese Poem

One of the most powerful ways to align the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual gifts of your team members with your strategic direction is through the creation of a TEAM CHARTER.

Once your TEAM CHARTER has been co-created with your team using QTI's TEAM CHARTER CREATION process, it will:

  • Serve as the "Map" that determines which way to go to reach the group's Destination (strategic and human goals).
  • Act as a "magnetic vision" to enable team-members to contribute their core gifts to the realization of that vision.
  • Bring clarity to the leaders so they can guide the "contribution of wisdom and brilliance".
  • Assist the leaders to provide an environment that fosters and maintains inspiration, creativity, productivity, harmony, learning and effectiveness.
  • Keep the team focused on actions that are aligned with the Destination.
  • Outline clear boundaries - personally and professionally - that keep the team members safe, focused and connected.
  • Support the values, color energies and culture of the group.
  • Provide the framework for Team Agreements, Team responsibilities and Team interaction.
  • Assist to define and maintain clear program/project objectives and outcomes that align with the Team Charter.

The 3 phase process that QTI will introduce to your team will be co-creative from beginning to end.

Team members will be able to express their own passions, gifts, hopes and dreams through the common insights language. The process itself will be custom-designed to be most effective with the "color energy" preferences within your group.

In creating their Vision/Destination, they will be encouraged to think about what kind of environment in which they would most like to work - an environment that would have them look forward to getting up and coming to work every single day, eager to be there, and to contribute their gifts and energy to a unified cause.

The 3 phase process will result in:

  • The creation of your fully supported Vision/Destination.
  • The creation of your Team Charter Map detailing:
    • What the group needs to do to reach the Vision/Destination
    • What the groups need to do if it gets DISCONNECTED from the Vision/Destination
    • How each team member will personally contribute to realizing the Vision/Destination
    • What each member needs to do for themselves if they get DISCONNECTED from the Vision/Destination
  • Benchmarks to assess the journey toward the realized Vision/Destination.
  • Production of wall-size TEAM CHARTER visuals to be mounted within the workplace.
  • Production of individual TEAM CHARTER visuals for easy reference.
